Big bands started as accompaniment for dancing. In contrast to the typical jazz emphasis on improvisation, big bands relied on written compositions and arrangements. They gave a greater role to bandleaders, arrangers, and sections of instruments rather than soloists.

Big Hole

Always knew the big rubis were potential back breakers
Went to get my tx700 out the loft this morning and the ladders slip resulting in me landing on them, aluminium is not a soft landing and the older I get the less I bounce!. big toe joint pain
morning to The Forum, nearly finished a long bathroom job, joists/ pipes / low down fiddly cuts etc, Does any one have exercises they rely on to alleviate the ache or at least bend the big toe back after a day spent folded in half. My foot at end of day looks like I've got Ali Baba slippers... -

1st big porc job..
Hi everyone... well I knew it would come soon, I have my first big tile porcelain job!! gulp.. 20+ metres of wall with a 1m x 350mm porc tiles, and then similar on 5m floor. guys i have a budget of max £100 to spend is it the: rubi star 60 n 24" on ebay for £85 only looking at this as it has the brand name or the qeb big clinker 630mm in screwfix for £99 like the look of it ,looks robust but read its awquard to use as u have to bend down to cut tiles whats...- lcowner

big clinker mk1
evening men,, i bought a big clinker mark 1.. havnt used it for a job yet,, but bought some porcelain tiles to test cut and it dosn't cut them perfectly straight they leave the tile ever so slightly curved when u look down the tile which happend to be 500mm.. if i get a rubi will it cut dead...- pipeline
