Big bands started as accompaniment for dancing. In contrast to the typical jazz emphasis on improvisation, big bands relied on written compositions and arrangements. They gave a greater role to bandleaders, arrangers, and sections of instruments rather than soloists.

Porcelain tile - big scratch repair advice?
Can anyone advise on this please? I have off-white matt porcelain floor tiles and one has a long scratch in it. Need advice caulking a bathtub when the gap is BIG between wall tiles & tub. Thanks.

Big Clinker Big Clinker 2 screwfix
Had anybody used the big clinker 2 ? As screwfix are selling them for 114.95. They look like a good bit of equipment. My rubi ts 60 struggles with some thick ceramics and porcelain. And was wondering if this cutter is better for the thicker tiles? Thanks- Gareth Raines
