Recessed channel for glass shower panel

Bath panel 1st or last ?
Ok so, I tile a bathroom. At the end of the bath is a gap approx 500mm between bath and wall. 100mm up the make a raised floor so to cover the waste pipe. Bath panel problem?

Tiling onto a polystyrene bath panel!?
My client has a V&B bath (plastic) which doesn't have legs, it just sits into what is effectively a polystyrene box.
