It is a cut corner tile, how'd you guess? It wasn't you was it? :p

Is there a way to remove it easily with the tools I've got? I don't have a dremel,

It's vital that you remove all the grout surrounding the tile before trying to remove it other wise you will damage the tile next to it. You could use a Stanley knife, carefully!

Ok thanks, I'm thinking I might leave it for now, I have given the tile a really good clean and it's much less noticeable now there's no dirt in the crack.
