Small glass mosaic tiles on mesh, 5mm thick. Area, 2 metres square. How deep should the Mapei adhesive be? And, should the adhesive be applied with a notched or smooth trowel?
Thank you.

Use a mosaic trowel, 3mm square notch. Press the sheets in with a grout float.

I heard somewhere, a notched trowel leaves adhesive lines and will show through the glass tiles, should I press the grout float hard down so that the adhesive lines disappear? Thank you

If you push the mosaic in far enough there should'nt be any notched lines remaining...
