Sigma (uppercase Σ, lowercase σ, lowercase in word-final position ς; Greek: σίγμα) is the eighteenth letter of the Greek alphabet. In the system of Greek numerals, it has a value of 200. In general mathematics, uppercase Σ is used as an operator for summation. When used at the end of a letter-case word (one that does not use all caps), the final form (ς) is used. In Ὀδυσσεύς (Odysseus), for example, the two lowercase sigmas (σ) in the center of the name are distinct from the word-final sigma (ς) at the end.

Opening up the Rubi / Sigma debate again.........sorry!
Okay, I've always been a Rubi kind of guy but...... I feel it's time to purchase a cutter to handle the increased amount of 900'ish mm tiles I'm seeing and don't want to waste my hard earned, so I'd appreciate your comments and recommendations please. Thanks, Daz- Daz

Sigma blade swap for ats blade.
Was shocked at the price of a replacement blade for my sigma 10 m9. So rang Alan at ats. They don't make a 300mm porcelain blade yet, but do a 250mm with the correct hole size. Thought I would give it a try as the standard blade is rubbish on porc. Pleased with the results so far and the blade... -

sigma or rubi table wet saws
can anyone advise me which table wet saw should I buy, a Sigma 9m6 or a rubi dw 250-nl. I have a rubi dw 200 but I want a bigger saw to cut 1 metre tiles. Just don't know what should I do?- pbct69

Latest on my Sigma 9p
Last week I got to use the Sigma 9P on a real job, not just trying it out . It has been fitted with the 86c wheel as supplied by Tradetiler. i have never been a fan of the cutters with water trays below . I always get splashed and found them messy.
