All good Andy think it will all work out ok can you recommend a good grout for a wetroom floor, usually use bal or mapie ? In light grey need something that's flexible and waterproof cheers w

An epoxy is the only waterproof grout available as far as I know.

Edit: Bal Micromax 2 would be fine though. Not waterproof as such but it doesn’t need to be.

As above, an epoxy is the only waterproof grout..the juries out on flexibility though. Mapei Kerapoxy CQ is pretty user friendly

Kop - @pdc is not slating your effort just pointing out that you don’t seem to have listened to tilers advice! What can we say that is going to be helpful the way it’s turned out.
As we have plumbers on this tilers forum stick around and pick up bits of information as you progress.

For me, the issue you had was that you came on asking for advice when it was too late. You had already Tiled the main floor area so the only advice that we could really give is to set the whole floor out again which obviousely couldn’t happen.

I also got the feeling that the layout was already decided on, you just wanted confirmation that it was OK. When you didn’t get the confirmation, you decided to leave. In reality you could learn a huge amount from this forum. We don’t always agree with each other but generally I can’t see anyone on here saying that your wet Dec was tiled correctly
