just ordered another dewalt d24000 from mr neave at tt...i have go that christmas morning feeling comng again lol.

i went for another 240v as h&s are accepting these more and more now as long as they are fitted with an rcd, so i'll be having fun again. theres a little bit more power with the 240v so its all good...

ps tt was saying that the new version of the hand held dewalt saw is out any day now. it will be available with an optional 1 meter and 2 meter guide rail!!!

I have the D24000 (which is much documented!!) and its the best portable wet cutter by a mile.....

... but I also recently bought the Vitrex 750 for smaller jobs and I used it for the first time this week - I must say it is absolutely superb:thumbsup: I am assuming the design is based on the old PP Master Tiler but the actual use of the machine far exceeds it's predecessor:thumbsup: Lots more power (150 watts to be exact), better guide rail set up and significantly quieter:thumbsup:

All in all I can highly recommend the Vitrex 750:smilewinkgrin:

Hi mate sorry this is a bit old and i don't know if you have bought yet but try the DU 200 L BL from rubi. Really good powerfull motor and CTD next month March/April will be selling them for £250 with stand and CPC2 porca blade. Bargain.

I still like my Tyrolit Hydrostress TTE250 I think its a similar design to the Dewalt 24000, retail is a little more expensive but I got mine for £700 with a few extra blades.
With a cutting length of 730mm & depth of 60mm cuts anything.
I will get some pictures of it in use posted next time I use it.
