How do you do it? Use a tape or ruler then mark each end or place the tile next to the cut and mark the tile?

Tape, measure the two ends, then minus spacer size + 2mm. So if a cut is 300mm and I'm using a 3mm spacer, cut at 295mm.

bit lost with this one i mark my cuts with a pencil

sorry Jamie, just to clarify, how do you transfer the required measurement to the tile? Tape measure or just place tile next to cut then flip tile for other side and mark
