Been asked to price my first kitchen mosaic splashback in a seriously long time, and the customer is supplying the brick effect type.. but he wants the complete reveals tiled including the heads.. two windows worth.. Maybe im having a dull moment but how do the mosaic folk on here go about doing heads of reveals with such mosaics??:eek:

Yeah the soffit (I just always tend to refer to it as the head of the reveal)..

I was more sort of thinking how to secure the mosaics in place without them falling down

Mosaics are light ....the adhesive should hold them in place no problems.

Well when I did it biogel wasn't around and also there is a story about biogel and steam rooms that I don't know the details of but maybe that is what you're getting at. But if was putting mosaics tomorrow in a non aggressive environment I would without doubt be using isomat ak20 or ak22 . For those of you that have gone nowhere near it or biogel the best thing i can describe it as is the old bal mosaic fix but better as it is more user friendly .
