Lightest weight backer boards - Tile Advice

hello all

I have a job where the walls are double thick plasterboard (both 18mm) on a stud wall ( between two flats to meet fire and sound regs etc). I don’t want to add the weight of a cement backer board (like nmp or hardie) on top of that.

What is the he lightest board out there? Wedi ? Jacko?

Tiles plus addy will be 38 kg a meter.

Both light and will take ++kg weights.

There all very light and you could use 6mm in that situation on a bed of adhesive with fixings

Stick extra screws into the framing I’m guessing it’s tin studding. Working on a site at the minute the boarders are on price and like to save on screws
