Why is it, the stuff you actually need like RIGHT NOW you can never get!! Tile cutter to cut 1200’s.. NOPE! Had to trek to northampton and I can’t bloody use the thing. Flat spacers for levelling. NOPE! Mail order only..
Tile Giant sell flat clips - very similar to the Chinese type - Oh wait ....they are the Chinese type.

So yesterday I called into my local tile shop and noticed they has stock of the genesis easy wedge system which he said was selling well. Not cheap obviously. I got one of the schmox bases out of the van to compare and it is absolutely identical, I've no doubt they come from the same factory

Should take a bit more force than a little chunk of plastic to pull a tile off a wall, are you using a suitable size trowel and back skimming the tiles?

How could they fall off with a solid bed?
Have you got a pic of the levelling system you used?
And the bases are thicker plastic so you have to hit them harder with the mallet..

How could a tile fall off no matter what clip is used?
I’ve no idea, but when I looked at the back of the tile there was hardly any contact with the adhesive. Ain’t like I used a different trowel depth so why would only 3 tiles not contact but all others are fine?

Did you back butter the tiles? Or back trowel them? What size tiles are we talking? Which adhesive?
