Laying stone onto ply - Tile Advice

What’s people’s views on laying trav onto a 12mm ply? Using ditra matting. The floor hasn’t got any movement in it.

Yes. The builder has put a 12mm ply over floor boards.

British Standards states minimum of 15mm.
But you’d find very few here that would agree with that technique when there are so many other more sensible options, especially with a natural product.
