I am planning on doing my bathroom up in January so I'm needing to get everything bought before. I am using 600x600 porcelain tiles for the floor and 300x600 porcelain tiles (3.4kg a tile) for the wall, I know it will be powder tile adhesive required but I cant find any which states it would suit these tiles, it will need to be water resistant/ waterproof and these will be going onto moisture resistant plasterboard.

Thanks in advance

Most cement based adhesives are suitable for porcelain but if you get an S1 , it will suffice for both wall and floor. Use a suitable backer board for the floor and new PB for the walls will take the weight.

Magic cheers, just now the floors are chipboard so what kind of backer should I put on top? All walls will be new 12.5mm moisture resistant plasterboard

Let us know you get on , maybe even share some pics. 👍
Just had a look and I think 'BAL Rapid Flex One Adhesive 20kg' would do the trick, do you agree? (see attached data sheet). Would this work onto chipboard? (I know its recommended to use hardie backer). Also what notch type and size do you recommend for tiles mentioned?

Yes that’s fine and don’t tile directly to chipboard as its a particle board and not stable to adhere to o. Trowel size. 10mm.

Ok, thanks for your help Dave. I'll get everything ordered and hopefully have photos up end of Jan/start of Feb haha.
