Hi, A new member post so please include the blatently obvious in any replies! I am in the process of extending my kitchen and plan to tile through the hall and into my extended kitchen, total area about 40m2. I will be using 40x1.2 cm limestone free length tiles. The existing floor is block and beam with what looks like a sand/cement screed the new kitchen extension floor will be concrete with 70mm sand/cement screed. I will be installing electric ufh probably in two zones, kitchen and hall. Thinking of the following:

prime floors
fix ufh mat with adhesive
cover over UFH mat with SLC
lay either dura or ditra matt with adhesive
lay tiles with adhesive
seal tiles
grout
seal again

Does the above sound ok? any recommendation of adhesive and slc? The UFH is not the primary heating source but just to take chill off tiles. Are insulation boards required?

Any advice appreciated.
