Hi,

I’m just after some advice from you professionals if you can help?

Ive recently hired a tiler to do some tiling in the kitchen, mid-wall tiles and the floor. It’s only a small kitchen and the quote was £300.

Id just like your help and feedback on how the tiler has done. I’m by far, no means a DIY’er but to me the job he did seemed poor.

He also didn’t fit any tiles under the washing machine (which is not integrated).

Ive attached some pics for you to look at and if you could help me and let me know what you think.

Here’s some from this afternoon, it looks like the floor tiles have move and cracked or been placed unevenly.
The cuts on the wall tiles look poor and the grouting needs filling?
Is this repairable?

thansk for your replies, complete novice to professional trades.

Same thoughts here - no point in trying to put lipstick on a pig. It's a shocking job that needs to be re-done properly. My thoughts with all of these things are that if they're hapy to leave it looking that bad, then what's going on underneath? No way they've done correct prep, used a primer or even the right type of adhesive.

Rip it all out now before it starts to fail of its own accord anyway.

Also - use review sites like Google and let people know how bad their craftsmanship is.
