Phone Apps - Tile Advice

So just moved to an android phone and why I'm not sure, i looked in the app store found some tiling apps, one inperticular works out how many tiles in an area to tile you need, not sure how useful that is but the other section works out how much grout is needed. Other apps show grout colour by maufacture and others showcase tiling jobs for ideas. Do many people use them, think there's a need for them or just a waste of memory space on your mobile.????

Basically you upload all of your loyalty cards (Spend and Save, Nectar, Tradepoint) onto your phone, then slim your wallet down and only carry your phone. Its brill. Do it!
