you would need a blade for tiles and a specific blade for block paving.
Segmented blades are used for block paving but they are not suitable for tiles

There is link in the word 'tiles', but perhaps the forum adds this on?!

For cutting block pavers, angle grinder/sthil saw is usual go to tool. If there is a lot of edge cuts, its best to lay them with an overlap, then cut the whole edge in one go with the grinder/stihl saw rather than individual cuts.

Yes, the forum must add that link in for some reason.

I was hoping to get a wet saw so that I could keep the dust down.

I'm looking around for a wet cutter that I can use for tiles and also for block paving/flagging (which need to cut to a depth of 50mm). I saw this model which looks like it will cut to those requirements.

Anyone used one? Or does anyone have any other recommendations? Cheers

EDIT: This is the link to the cutter https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=3&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjD8POYq5vaAhWIWBQKHXd2DmUQFgg0MAI&url=https://www.its.co.uk/pd/BT65011-Vitrex-Brutus-Bridge-Saw-1100w-_VITBT65011.htm&usg=AOvVaw30ATQkFrh-27Sai69xh-Oq

I'll sell you my Dewalt DW24000 for the same price!
