I thought I'd share this project, quite a lot went into this and I think it turned out great. The floor was a bit of a mess so there was some leveling prior to fitting the insulation and underfloor heating.
This system is the new pro warm system which uses the dural cifh carrier mat and there 6mm cable, spaced to suit your needs, this one was 185w.
This was the perfect job for Kerakol fugalite bio parquet epoxy with there being several dogs in the house. First time using this epoxy and I found it fairly straight forward and the finish is far superior to regular cement based grout.
The forum is telling me some images are too large for some reason.

I like that dural matting . I've used a fair bit get on with it really well. I do the same as you and level over the cable as well .

That u/f heating looks like a work of art, got to try this system myself, looks so much better than Warmup!

Anyone remember the days when you had to continue the wire round for the return?

Nowadays it loops at the end.

I also remember the days of having to put a metal earth grid over the floor.
