Just wanted to say thank you for your help whilst I was installing my en-suite. I've now finished (finally!) and am really chuffed with myself at the results. I couldn't have done it without the support and advice I've had from the members of this forum so thank you you lovely lovely people.

The photos haven't come out terribly well due to the restricted space but here's some before and afters for ya anyway. Annoyingly I'd already started ripping the old bathroom out before I took the photos but I think you'll get the idea. Hopefully it'll be obvious which ones are befores and which are afters.

They say pride comes before a fall and I'm massively proud so I hope the 'fall' isn't the tiles falling off the walls!

Thanks again guys.

Steve

Thanks for the comments guys.

@Chalker I've really enjoyed it. I really stretched my DIY abilities but it's been very rewarding. The whole project took bloomin ages though which caused loads of stress from my wife but hopefully that'll all be forgotten when she's enjoying the new improved room. I might have to remind her of how it looked before I started! I also had to endure comments from people saying 'have you STILL not finished that!' and commenting about how they'd have been able to have tiled it in a weekend! I bet you guys must get so frustrated at how easy lots of people think tiling is. I can honestly tell you I have the utmost respect for what you guys do.

I've really enjoyed being part of this forum too and following the banter between you. I'll continue to lurk here no doubt.

Thanks again.
Steve
