What is the general concensus on tiles in the doorway. What I mean is when you tile a floor should the tile in the doorway be?. Slither, half or full tile..

I presonally don't like to see anything less than half a tile in the doorway. What do you guys normally do?

bigger the better but never a full tile. I was taught no less than a 3rd as a rule which I think is a good standard.

depends on width of the room...if it's a narrow room, I would try to fit as many full tiles from the opposite wall towards the door to create the illusion of greater floor space but making sure I don't end up with a slither at the doorway..people don't tend to look down at the door threshold but look into the room..

If it's a diamond pattern, then I always aim for a half tile where possible.
If straight set or brickbond I try and get a decent size cut depending on the rest of the room, but generally always less than a full tile.

another factor is, are the floor tiles to run with the wall tiles. This can determine where you're floor tiles are situated:20:
