Just on re boarding a bathroom and the upvc windows is caked in silicone. Want to remove this before skimming it up. Any top tips on solutions, or ways to remove it offthese plastic windows so not to damage or leave nasty scratch marks would be much appreciated. Cheers D

Pvc solvent cleaner after you peel the thick off.

Wickes do a silicone remover, or did.
I know nothing about it, never used it, don't know if they even still do!
Not a lot of help I know, but I have actually seen a bottle of it! Haha

I use a new scraper to remove the majority of it, then isopropanol to thoroughly wipe off residue. Works a treat!

No nonsense silicone remover from screwfix. Works for me everytime. Bang it on, have a brew while it kicks in, scrape away

Be careful with silicone removers on pvc frames ... Always check suitability.
