i made the misatake of bringing a ts 60 to a glazed porcelain job on saturday it wouldnt cut the tiles and they chipped when I scribed them and just shattered when i tried to snap them after scoring ,i ended up having to wet cut everything lucky I had a wet cutter with me. ts 60 only good for ceramics in my honest opinion
Gary never had a porcelain that I couldn't cut with a tx60 tx60plus is another thing never had one I could cut with it you will have to take me with you next time

Hi All, the TS60 Plus is suitable for cutting most porcelain tiles. It has more breaking power than our standard TS 60 model which is suited to cutting ceramics. as mentioned already the 8mm scoring wheel is recommended for cutting harder materials such as porcelain.

We had a ts60 & a ts60+ in the van together for 3 years roughly & I would use the ts60 before I would use the 60+ as it cut porcelain better..
The 60+ always broke out at the breaker.
Got fed up struggling to cut porcs so bought a Tomechanic..
