I had some hexagonal tiles fitted and assumed that the pattern would run around the walls and in the first photo.

I realise that the walls aren't plumb and that may have been difficult with fully tiled floor and walls.

However, now the grout has gone on it looks like this!!

Is this salvageable? What can be done to improve the look?

I would rip that lot out and buy some rectangular tile instead, also make sure the pattern would not make you feel ill whilst using the bathroom.
