Hardie Backer Boards - Tile Advice

Hi All,
Tomorrow I’m using 6mm Hardie Backer onto 22mm chipboard. I’ll be screwing it aswell as fixing it with adhesive and taping the joints with fibre tape. My question is, can i tile straight away or do i need to wait until next day?

I don't know but wouldn't it depend on wether he was using rapid or slow set especially if taking out uneveness in flooring . Again i dont know just a question

I would have thought if it was fixed as per Hardie's instructions ie every 200mm with screws you would be good to go as soon as.

The way it soaks up moisture by the time the last board is fixed the 1st is going nowhere!
Straight away for me.

Once it’s screwed down it’s not moving, there will be a thin solid bed under it so it’s fine. Don’t think slow set is the best idea

Thanks for al the replies! Yes, should have said I’ll be using a rapidset flexible floor adhesive.

For what it's worth Hardie recommend non flexi adhesive......why I don't know, its just a gap filler!
