i got to do a small poarch floor 4m2

the tile is a 100mm x 100mm hexaganal qurry tile with a black 10mm x 10mm dot in each corner.

problem is the quarry tile is 8mm thick and the dot tile is 3mm thick

instead of packing each dot up with addy i had a brainwave, a cheap 6x6 white tile from the sheds is 5mm thick, what if i cut them in to 10mm squares and used them as packers under the black dot tile.

good idea or am i being a numpty.

Still gonna have to fix the packer, another idea is as you say, fill the hole with addy, I would fix the main tile, skim over the hole with addy, insert dot and clean off, at least you know that the dot is supported fully.

My 2 pennies worth :8:
