Tooth polishing is done to smooth the surfaces of teeth and restorations. The purpose of polishing is to remove extrinsic stains, remove dental plaque accumulation, increase aesthetics and to reduce corrosion of metallic restorations. Tooth polishing has little therapeutic value and is usually done as a cosmetic procedure after debridement and before fluoride application. Common practice is to use a prophy cup—a small motorized rubber cup—along with an abrasive polishing compound.
just finished me wall tiling in the kitchen.
bought some 24" polished porcelain tiles, got me wet cutter etc at the ready.
never done these before though so a bit nervous about ballsing it up.:icon8:

just laid the floor and theres adhesive that I need to get off. The floor has yet to be sealed.
Qu: Whats the best way of removing it? I've just tried a damp scourer (green kitchen type thingy) on an off cut and it removed the adhesive quickly and it didn't seem to effect the polished finish...
Whenever i read the tile forums people always seem wary of using polished porcelain tiles.As a newbie what are the problems associated with these types of tile and what should i be wary of because i have just done apolished porc floor but haven't grouted it yet.Cheers.

So my polished porcelain tiles arrived yesterday and I have checked a few random samples out.
All looks good.
There is a very clear instruction that the tiles must be sealed after laying - as stared by all on here.
I have a couple of questions...
1)Why do you need to seal before grouting...
