Just wondering how you do your cuts in the slope into drain. Do you cut with your sigma or wet saw. Im thinking if cut with a sigma, you aren't going to get the 4mm joint one needs in a floor however I might be wrong.

Also, when setting out your tiles. Do you make sure your grout line is inline with your wet tray meets sub floor rather than a tile crossing where both meet?

I have the dewalt d2400 and generally cut them in with this but I do try to push the cuts as close together as possible

And yes full tile away from edge of impy tray always looks best

Set out using the drain as centre of a tile or joint. Cut all envelope cuts with wet saw to create a decent edge and to allow for a grout joint. Polish edges with a diamond pad too. Cut with your snap cutter where the trsy meets the rest of the room.
I like to dry fit the whole tray first.

Wet cutter or grinder. You need a couple of mm of tile removed to be able to keep your tiles spaced correctly

Tbh, I've did the wet cut before on smaller cutterd However I seen few clips on YouTube where some using the sigmas and it got me thinking did many do it this way. Now that I've the dewalt, I'll find it even better than the small cutters.

What would you do if full tile away ends up leaving you with a small cut along the wall. Would you still di this? My tray is 900,mm and from wall to wall is 1350mm. That leaves 450mm. If the tiles are 400sq, that'll leave 50mm along the wall. Would you still do this.
