I just get the customer to pick the field and border. I've had a original style cad before and they're pointless imo

Yes the customer picks field and border, but I still do drawing so I can show them how it will look and so I know where to start and finish. Also so I can count how many individual tiles they need

I don't think the drawings do the jobs justice. I imagine you triple check your measurements on the floor anyway? The drawings are a waste of time I think but each to their own and I imagine some customers like the effort
