Mine are:-
Start small: never take on too much to soon. Work smart not hard.
Wash off ALL your tools and try to get in a habit of sticking the back in the right place.
Always make sure the job is right once you're doing it. Never slack, even at the end.
Measure twice - cut once
For the Pro Tilers:-
If you're at a loss, carry on. Learn for next time. Customer satisfaction and guarantee is paramount, without them you have no purpose.
Never take the mick in somebody elses home, be over polite rather than just a bit polite but don't be a fool. Always have your thinking cap on when you're talking to your customer. You're representing everything you say you are when you're talking to the customer.
