Aghh I couldn't resist I've put a bin in on that saw on ebay
Do I need a special blade to cut from or will the blade supplied with the machine

I bought the Evolution chop saw, but found the blade too coarse and was catching the edge of the trim, flicking it all over the place. Without a decent clamp it was an eye op waiting to happen.
Boxed it back up and returned it.
A pal of mine uses his all the time and loves it, and for now still has sight out of both eyes.
I'll stick with the Quansol.

I'll stick with the Quansol.
U can use a bit of 2by1 to hold the trim down or trap.it under and just cut through the trim and wood and keep ur eyes haha

To be fair, if I sorted a jig to hold the trims it would work fine. My first and second attempt at cutting both nearly ended in an A+E appointment, so was put to rest as a bad idea, and told myself not to be so lazy.

I've just got a proxxon g85 I think it's calls that has a built in clamp
