Hello, does anyone know why my tile would tent? Bottom floor concrete slab condo in Tampa. Had water detection company, sinkhole company, slab engineer and several tile companies completely stumped, it is in the middle of my living room. I finally chiseled out the grout of one tile and it came out in one piece. There are about 12 more tiles I need to do this too. There is a small orange stain on back of tile, and a small crack in concrete but no separation. I have photos but don’t know how to post them here.

The tiles themselves, the slab and the tiling field are two separate installations, if the tiles are cut to tight to the surrounding perimeter then they have no room to expand and contract.
