I know tilers, who do not use meters, they say that it is quite a look with the eyes in order to understand the measure.

I find that I sometimes get a load of adhesive on the end of my tape measure which can throw your measurements out a mm or 2

I always measure by the cubit . It was good enough for noah and he saved mankind and all the animals
