I would like to share a few pics of what I have been Upton over the last couple of weeks.
I know this is a tilers forum and this bathroom doesn’t have that much tiling in it but I thought I would share anyway.

Started out with a small ensuite and bedroom.

Ripped out middle wall to make one large room.

Bedroom doorway removed and walls built to take a niche for the shower.

BCT Laura Ashley Josette tiles, not too bad all lined up nicely.

Nearly there, all painted everything working just a bit of touching up, handles etc on Monday.

Really enjoyed doing this one, nice to do something a bit different.

What a lovely job. I used to do this type of fit. I found it far more interesting than constantly tiling.

I'm not sure the floor colour works though with the dark/light grey theme.

Yeah, it looks a bit like that cheap laminate everyone used to use in the photos but it is actually much greyer.

That makes more sense. It photo's like lime washed oak. Funny how stuff can appear so different in images.

I think it might be the yellow/orange glow from the lights.

Excellent, did you do the wall panels Boggs?

Stop using BCT!

They are nice looking tiles though, almost like wallpaper..

Yeah, treated 2x1 frame packed out level and square, moisture resistant mdf, mitred at joints and corners, better than having cover strips, and beading added on top.
Top shelf made from mdf with slight bullnose added.

Nice job for a track saw that?

Great job!

The dark wall and the units colour clash IMO. Too many colours, my poor eyes can’t cope :D

What’s on the floor?

Karndean Looselay, not layed loosely.

I’ve not done the loose lay Karndean yet. Do you just stick down with F46?

Then there’s no need for an expansion gap?
I only do full stick gear.

Yeah, you have to stick it down otherwise it just moves apart, they recommend sticking boards on the perimeter but we always fully glue it.
Skirtings were left up 6mm so floor could expand underneath.
