As no one likes me enough to put a link on, these beaded ones, are they the beefy looking silver ones? :)

Thank you guys, appreciate that.
Close shave yday then! Haha did consider them for a minute, cos they looked substantial.
But then I see they wanted £80 for the trousers to put them in! Haha
I'm happy with my Army combats from the boot sale at a fiver thank you! :D

I use the Redbacks and can honestly say they work great for me. I do find they are heavier than the average knee pad, but I want to protect my knees and they do just that!!

I did the same until customers wondered what a German tank commander was doing in their bathroom

I put them in my dickies trousers, not £80! More like £30, great trousers. I'm sure @impish said to wash the knee pads so will have to try that, I've got a good two weeks of flooring ahead of me, need something asap!

Yes, wash them and even tumble dry them on low heat, they come back as new.
If you hole the knees on your pants, cut some patches from old ones and use mitre-fix to glue them from the inside. Looks ok and far cheaper!

I wear floorlayers and always will. I seem to live on my knees and I have no knee problems (yet!)
