Silicone for use in a steam room

Discuss Silicone for use in a steam room in the Tanking and Wetrooms area at TilersForums.com.

I tried a product called Muffycid which worked really well and removed the bulk of the mould, but the original silicone is looking a bit knackered and seems to have worn a bit over the years. I think I'll defo change it to keep things looking tidy and fresh in there.

Domosil S looks good with a high temperature rating.

Has anyone had any experience in using this as I wondering if it sets of hardish due to it's high mechanical strength?
