Got the 9p on advice from this forum and very pleased with it thanks. Sliding table is very slick and accurate. Water control is excellent, no more wearing full waterproofs whenever I need to cut a tile :hurray:. Only bummer is it won't take 600's on the guide so I have to remove the guide and slide them though. Not a problem just a shame/inconvenient. Blade seems ok but I wouldn't think it was excellent so will probably upgrade that once I get through this one which apparently is a good standard blade for ceramic and porcelain. Porcelain cut is good but would expect to get better really with a top blade.

Stand is very good. Simple, light and rock solid, what more could you want? All very expensive but a nice bit of kit.

Got it all off Dominic at exclusive tiling. Was a bit of a saga getting it but Dom put himself out to get it all sorted and even lent me his top of the range flat bed sigma to tie me over.

All in all a great bit of kit that maybe could only be improved by taking 600's and a better blade.

thanks for the advice guys.

I'll check for you today Stevo. Have already asked the supplier that question today Chalker so will be interesting to see what he comes up with compared to Sir Ramic. I'll post when I get a reply.

The 86C is a good blade for porc. And your right about the guide bar. Most people remove this to cut longer tiles. This is the smallest machine we do but as they go up in size you can fix a guide rail to the top of the machine and just push the tile though. I have seen someone cut meter planks from porcelanosa on the 9P with no problems.

Stevo, machine will take a 400 between guide and blade max and guide on bar is 390mm.

Yep, someone on one of my previous posts mentioned that the 9p came with a better blade, ho hum. Still a great machine and guide come off in a second and then you can run what you want through it.
