So I used some Mapei self levelling compound in my bathroom, it looks alright to the bare eye, but when checking with a straight edge (length of laminate in this case) there are still dips in the floor. Do I need more slc, or did I do something wrong?

It's hard to tell from the pics, but the dips vary from around 4mm up to about 8mm deep.
