Hi Y'all, just been looking at a clients tilers work and they were a little disappointed, to say the least, that the shower tray had not been covered effectively whilst tiling took place and the resultant scritches and scratches detract from what has been a pretty good installation. So the big question is- how can this be redeemed ? I've heard of T-Cut being effective, although I have not been in a position to have had to use it, is there a specific product that anyone can recommend ? As I have intimated, the surface damage is light without any deep gouges, all help and advice gratefully received. Cow.

Not my area of expertise, but what is the tray made of? Fibreglass? pressed metal and enamal? or something else?

I know these can be resurfaced quite easily. Is there anyone in your area that specialises in such work? Or are you contemplating doing it yourself? I'd consider calling in a 'Pro' to do it.

Bath doctor near me can sort these as good as new. I think I paid around £40 last time. They are a franchise nationwide.
(it was the customer who dropped the screen on the tray - not me!)

hi
a customer of mine was drilling on their wall and dropped the drill bit in the bath, they called a bath doctor round and was very pleased with the results.
There is repair kits out there, some plumbers ive worked with have had to repair a shower tray where a bit of the edge was chipped off, couldnt even see where the chip was once it was repaired.
try local plumbers merchants, they will have an idea on what can be done.
