evening all,,, i posted yesterday but didnt get much feed back,, and after thinking about the leveling compound over wood situation,, would it be ok to use a coat of flexy rapid set adhesive to level the plywood sub floor first before tiling,, bearing in mind im only talking about slight bumps and hollows over small areas bathroom floors ect.. thanks again

Have you stuck a straight edge on the floor to find out how much in depth it's bumpy...

i put i straight edge across it, but thought to myself, its not much of a bump, i can loss it by using more adhesive,, but i know thats not always going to work,, so was thinking of another way of leveling over plywood,, i watched a video on u tube and this fella using mesh lath nail to plywood then rough coat over the top to level before tiling,, any1 used this method before. thanks

Weber used to state ( they may still do ) that when levelling over ply then a minimum of 10mm should be used.

if your floor is rock solid Im sure you would be fine to patch small areas (dips etc) but I wouldn't try to level a large area with your adhesive.
