Hi everyone,

I have recenly undertaken the task of renovating my bathroom and am at the stage where the walls in the wet area are cladded with abacus elements tile backer board, the joints sealed with the tape and compoud that comes in the kit. my query is, since the boards are coated with a mortar and are waterproof do I still need to prime them? If so, what do people recommend? Any advice would be much appreciated.
