Hello all - recent joiner and past lurker.
Having given up trying to find tilers for my kitchen walls (job too small and tilers not turning up) I am having to do it myself.
Removing old tiles has revealed patchy walls that I will need to skim. The window area looks worse. Please refer to the photos.

My plan for the walls is to
- remove all loose plaster, sand, etc
- sbr prime 2x coats (5:1, 3:1)
- setaflex skim
- tile
- fill with slow expanding foam, cut etc
- easy fill any gaps
- tile
