Is the a primer suitable for preparing a painted concrete screed, or do I need to grind/sand the paint off first?

you need to remove at least 95% of the paint before priming and tiling (dust masks glasses and ear plugs ) not a good job

Go to P.E.T in Crewe and hire a floor sander, it much quicker.

Just call them, ask for Darren or Martin and they will help you out no problem. Tell them I gave you their names, great blokes, always ready to help.

Cheers Dom, popped in this morning, the young guy I spoke to reckoned after pads I would be looking around 50/60 quid. Its only a 7m2 room so doubt it would even take long, just got to work it into the quote :]

Was it Darren or Martin? That sounds an ok price, cant see a customer having a problem with that.
