Can someone tell me whats the difference-if there is one- between these two? also which one do people recommend and also I need to put one of these on my bathroom floor before i tile what thickness is recommended and how are they installed.
P.S im a DIYer but can do most jobs and not a beginner

mmmmm, ok but wont you get a different reading with a 9 stone kangaroo and a 17 stone kangaroo PS im not 9 stone:smilewinkgrin:

If you have a laser level (or know someone that will lend you one) put that down on the floor (in various places) and walk over the floor. The laser line should have very little movement when you walk. If that's the case then you can glue and screw your Backer board.

Does no one use Aquapanel any more? It used to be the board of choice when I tiled.
