Hi All

I have recently moved into a new house and am currently working on the kitchen. The trouble is whoever tiled the floor before didn't finish the job as they left out quite a substantial section of the floor.

Now, by their condition I believe that these tiles are fairly new - laid within the last few years or so. Not only that but I quite like them and they suit the period of the house so would really like to keep them if at all possible. The only trouble is despite many a Google search and email to tile suppliers and manufacturers I can't seem to find a match on them to complete the job.

I'm hoping somebody on here may know who makes these or somewhere that sells them. Maybe you've laid them before? They measure 195mm x 95mm x approx 7mm. I had to chisel a few up so have uploaded a picture of the underneath of one. I didn't know if the pattern on the underside was indicative of the manufacturer etc..

Many thanks in advance.

Mike

I think there from a manufacture called woliscroft, but if im not mistaken they went out of business some years ago or pilkingtons who also went bust

Thanks for the above comments. By the looks of it both Pilkingtons and Woolliscroft are both in business. However, I can't seem to find anything matching in their ranges.

Ray TT I'm based in the Midlands, Triangle Tiles doesn't seem to have a website so difficult to check what they stock I may give them a ring though. When you say "vesa tile" do you mean that is the name of the brand/style. Again can't seem to find anything on that either.

Cheers

H&R Johnsons Versatile I think. Versatile for sure as Ray said, but I'm not 100% I have the manufacturer correct. Topps sold them
For sure so call them and check the manufacturer if I'm wrong. They can be fixed either way round, or a mixture of both like a chequerboard or whatever.

Anti-slip one side smooth the other.

Used to sell the 6X6 in topps tiles. Came in Red Cream or Black at the time. Must be 12 or so years ago now maybe since I sold some!

Cheers Dan

Checked the Johnsons website can't find anything but have dropped them an email just in case. PS I contacted Topps Tiles last week but unfortunately they couldn't help.

Call a different store. Their computers should have records of old names etc. Unless they wipe the records periodically.

I think they're Pilkingtons Multiversatile. Looks like Wooliscroft do a replacement but it's not exact.

Do an image search for those names.

We're getting there!

Have been in touch with the manufacturers and it seems it is most likely the Multiversatile as mentioned but has now been out of production for some years. Does anybody know any reputable tile warehouses that carry discontinued tiles that I could try? Preferably ones who can send via courier etc.

Many Thanks

You tend to find tile shops get rid of end of line tiles quite quickly because they just take space up that new stock can sit in. So job lots and whatnot get them sold at heavily discounted prices.

I'll move this thread to the Find a Tile Forum for you which might help.
