Hi, I would like to know an acceptable moisture level of a floor prior to tiling. I have a newly laid floor (2 to 2.5 months) which is showing a relative moisture level of between 12 to 16%. The floor appears dry with no signs of discolouration (darker patches). Have been checking the floor for approx 4 - 6 weeks and it’s not really moving. Any info or rules of thumb would be appreciated.
