Hahaha no it's actually true!
First one broke only two years ago when Aligage let addy dry on it and he decided to clean it off with a hammer! :eek:

wish I had time to clean them properly after each mix but when you mix a full bag of rapid the last thing you want to do is get out you an old tooth brush and clean every little nook and cranny.
Tried a bucket of pea shingle and water but didn't really do the trick.
And Christ, you can buy a new one for £15 ish :)

I just spin it off in bucket of water with an old sponge in it.
No need to be facetious. :D:rolleyes: Hehe

Rubi , had it about 3 years but it's been used by gangs on big commercial jobs so probably done the equivalent of 10-12 years work! I normally get through 1 paddle a year, never wash it just clean with a hammer every few days!

I got one from aldi ,the best one ive had and cheapest only 240 though ,the paddle is worth more than the mixer lol awesome
Mines packed in after about 5 years of use & my mates phoned today to say he spied them in an Aldi store in East Kilbride.
He's picking me up a new one tomorrow.

original. lasted one year.
Spare of the packaging. lasted six months
changed at least. 6 pairs in 10 years.
now purchased. 3 pairs of brushes.
first used pair. more than a year. still work.
but your bl. hold stops in the van? lol ;)
