Hi everyone,

HAPPY FRIDAY!

It may seem strange that there are certain adhesives and manufacturers insist on theirs being used but the choice of adhesive is important. At Mapei UK we only recommend what we have tried and tested in our controlled laboratories. We have always recommended that Mapetex can be installed with Ultralite S2 Quick or Keraquick S1 with Latex Plus - a system that provides optimum crack bridging ability.

However, we do realise that optimum crack bridging is not always a necessity so therefore Mapei tested the Ultralite Rapid Flex S1 which passed the required standards and offers a more cost effective system solution. Something to bear in mind is that an adhesive is not just an adhesive and there can be huge differences between quality when selecting the raw materials.

If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact our Technical Services Department, open from 7am to 7pm on 0121 508 6970 (option 2)

Have a great weekend,
Mapei UK

Used to work for a stone company who supplied Keraflex Maxi for most installs. Customers used to phone Mapei if this was ok. They replied Keraquick and latex plus ? Greedy bas,,,, ?
