Brown paper would uncouple!
Honestly, don't get all hung up on marketing.

My understanding is this - loads of different products will do loads of different jobs, many of which they aren't "meant" for, and in many cases it's just because the manufacturer hasn't paid for the required testing, or they don't want product A to reduce sales of their product B...
So, as you've seen it in the flesh, would you put it on par with tm's mat or brown paper for decoupling?

Well I've yet to use brown paper, but I didn't like tm membrane, I found it tricky to apply. I know it's not classed as waterproof, the fleece will transport water. But I suspect it's far more stretchy than the mapei.
I Normally Stick with ditra for uncoupling, because it's so far advanced of anything else, but waterproofing I believe there's more of a level playing field in terms of choice and function.

Not yet but was considering it, I just wanted to see if there were any opinions on it out there. I can't think of a bad product that Ardex make.
