I wish I'd payed the extra. The 089k is very good apart when in loads of natural light.

That's good to know, it was the 089k I was going for to save me carrying 2 lasers, 087 & Bosch floor lasers.
Need something you can see easily when it's bright.

After reading this thread, I'm looking at buying the Dewalt 089d1 as it looks great! A new screwfix has opened near me, and they have 10% off everything! £423 after the discount, which seems quite a good price. I blame you @3_fall :)

have you tried it in a bright conservatory marc?
I would want some feedback for those conditions before buying :)
Oh would you now Julian? Haha
U realise I'm not a Dewalt rep, right? Hehe
Well funnily enough, if I ever get there, my next job is a Porcelthin job in a conservatory!
So I'll let you know! Haha

EDIT..... ORANGERY!

Haha nothing to do with me Magga, I haven't even reviewed it on here!
But £423 would be a great price, mines from FFX cheapest I could find at the time at £454.

Well I've got it now, and I must say it's quite impressive!

How do you normally mount yours? I've got a pole that I used with my old one. Ideally I want something with height adjustment to mount it on!

There are so many ways to answer that question,
and they'd all be wrong! :D
Up to now I've been able to use the strong magnets on to beading,
The bracket that comes with it screwed to timbers and a tripod. I will try at some point to fit it to my Stanley adjustable pole, just haven't had need or time.
